I am an elected Artist Member of Glasgow Society of Women Artists and Paisley Art Institute.  Drawing and painting are a greatly pleasurable and essential part of my life.  Outdoor painting is the greatest experience for me.  I am also fascinated by the excitement of colour and very much enjoy painting still life.  I have long experience of portraiture and recognise the human face as a superb subject.

I am pictured above at one of my solo shows in Edinburgh.

 

I have shown my work in many exhibitions in Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Cotswolds.  I have also shown in the RGI and RSA.

 

I have been awarded the Plein Air Prize (PAI) and the Lauder Award for landscape (GSWA).

 

I just have to keep painting!
